These terms govern your use of Social Media Agent (“the Service”). By signing in, you agree to them. Plain English here — no lawyer-speak.
1. What the Service does
Social Media Agent helps you draft, schedule, and analyze social media posts. It connects to platforms you authorize (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, Threads, Bluesky, Pinterest, YouTube) on your behalf using each platform’s official OAuth flow.
2. Your account
- You must be 16 or older.
- You’re responsible for keeping your sign-in safe.
- You may use the Service for yourself, your team, or your clients.
- One person per account. Don’t share credentials.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload or generate — captions, images, videos, brand voice samples, all of it. By using the Service you give us permission to store and process that content solely to operate the Service for you.
Generated content (from GPT-4o, gpt-image-1, HeyGen) is yours to use, subject to each provider’s terms. We don’t claim authorship.
4. What you may not do
- No illegal content, harassment, hate speech, or sexual content involving minors.
- No spam, fake accounts, or platform-rule violations.
- No reverse-engineering the Service or scraping other users’ data.
- No using the Service to coordinate inauthentic behavior across platforms.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
5. AI-generated content
AI can be wrong, biased, or produce content that looks confident but isn’t accurate. You’re responsible for reviewing anything before scheduling or publishing. We don’t warrant that generated content is true, original, or non-infringing.
6. Connected social accounts
You authorize us to publish on your behalf via OAuth. We never store your password. Access tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. You can disconnect any account at any time from Connected accounts — that immediately revokes our access.
7. Plans, credits, and billing
- Free tier is rate-limited (5 posts / 3 images / 50 AI messages per month).
- Paid plans (Pro, Agency) bill monthly via Stripe.
- Unused credits don’t roll over.
- You can cancel anytime from Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
- Refunds are at our discretion — contact us within 14 days for genuine issues.
8. Service availability
We aim for 99% uptime but don’t guarantee it. Scheduled posts may be delayed if a platform’s API is down — we retry with exponential backoff and mark the post as failed only after retries are exhausted.
9. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Privacy & data. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. When your account is deleted, your data is removed within 30 days except where we’re legally required to retain it (e.g., invoices).
10. Liability
The Service is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We’re not liable for indirect damages (lost profits, lost followers, missed campaigns).
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be flagged in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new version.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes go to the courts of Amsterdam, unless mandatory consumer-protection law gives you the right to your home court.
